Default Gotta Refrigerator Full of Xmas Meats to Smoke and...

I may have the Farking Flu!!!! At first I thought it was just a simple Head Cold. Tried to shake it off and went about my business, cleaning the snow and ice off of the front and back steps, scraped off and salted the ramp to my Barn where the Smokers are. Came inside to cool off a bit and started coughing and sweating. Sat down to rest and went to say something to Cathy and my voice sounded as that of Satan's. I'm talking real low, deep and gravelly, it literally shook the panes of glass in the windows. She spun around and stared at me in Shock and Horror!!!
Now, I have totally lost my voice, I know that is a great comfort to Cathy,
but I am determined to get out there and Burn some Meat!!!
As of now, I am still planning to Smoke all this Meat between Tomorrow and Christmas Day.
2- Five Lb. Chuckies
1- Five Lb. Rib Roast
1- Six Lb. Pork Loin
1- St. Louis Trimmed rack of Pork Ribs
4- One Lb. Polish Kielbasa's
6- One Lb. Fatties to give out as presents

Stay tuned for the exciting conclusion(or letdown)of N8man's Smoking Christmas Adventure!!!

My Grandmother used to give us hot tea with honey and just a touch of brandy... Worked great!

Sorry to hear you're under the weather. Hope you feel better soon.

Sounds like you're fixin to smoke up a feast!

How much of the white stuff did ya'll get out your way? The field at Grandma's house (were we played in the snow with the 4-wheelers) had around 9 - 10 inches of the stuff.

By the way, my voice is going too after getting out and playing in the snow with the grandkids. But it was worth it, they (and me) had a blast!

Papa

Hope you feel better and get some smoking in. Try some Emergen-C. It will enhance your immune system and give you some energy in my experience.

+1 As soon as I feel something coming on I hit 1 - 2 grams of vitamin C every couple of hours and that fixes almost everything.

N8 - Hope you feel better bro!
