I've got a reamer (tapers form 1/4 " to 1") that is 25 years old and fits in a 1/2" chuck. Works for me.

I know the Harbor Freight stuff is for the most part junk, but I had bought a unibit for a different project from either Home Depot or Lowes and had to take it back. The second from the biggest size, the shoulder rounded off on me. Now it might have been partially user error and I was drilling thru steel probably 3/16" thick but I expected a little better mileage.

I exchanged the unibit and bought a dremel they had for the same price and finished reaming out the hole.

No knock on you but I learned a long time ago cutting tools last when proper speed, angle to surface, pressure are used. If you buy a drill motor get a good one, meaning good chuck, variable speed, plenty of power. Balance of the tool is important to me. I "Burned" a lot of holes and ruined a lot of bits in my 28 years of fixture building. Now I let the cutter do the cutting.

Reasonable on ebay.(Damn expensive new-Greenlee)
Cuts the EXACT hole every time! Burr free, perfect!
Cant argue that one... I used a Greenlee set to punch out holes in stainless beer kegs( like buttah) . I wouldnt EVEN consider going to HF for one of their punches.
