Wet VS Seasoned

I have a cord of wet oak from a storm we had in April and I have used all my seasoned wood. Does the wet wood make a difference in cooking? I have read only use seasoned. Thanks, Chris
 
Not a good idea at all, the green wood will create soot and leave a funny taste in food. Try cutting into small peices and dry them out like that, it will be easier.
