asm leaking at door and may be out of round

Before you order the gaskets, check for roundness. Take the middle section of the drum out. Use a take measure and measure it straight across. Do this is several places. I like to think of a clock. Measure from 12 to 6, from 2 to 8, etc. All those measurements should be fairly close to the same size. If you see that one area is a little larger, pick the drum up and give it a gentle squeeze. Measure again. Flip it over and measure again.

Once you have the barrel in round, set the door in place. Does it look like it closes completely and seals? If not, a couple gentle tweeks should be able to shape it to fit.

All that being done should remove a lot of WSM leaks. I still ordered the gaskets from BBQGaskets.com and the Stainless Steel door from Cajun Bandit.
