I just paid $450 for a 20"x48" Klose pit ($1895) with the following options:

1/2" Firebox ($450)
Pullout Shelves ($275) - Missing top shelf
Heavy Duty Casters ($205)
Counterweight ($125)
Ball Valve ($60)

It is in near mint condition.

450.00 Is not a good Price.....Send the Unit to me So I can Inspect it and use it to make sure your getting a good deal.. its the only way to know for sure.
