Talking May be a dumb question

Ok here it is! Has anyone ever attempted to do a packer on a rotisserie? I don't own an acceptable smoker at this point(unfortunate demise of a marriage)and have an old , but wonderful cast iron cook n kettle I'd like to use to try one . Have NO idea how to go about it or do it. Thanks for your help!

Old Hickory, Southern Pride, and Oyler pits are all rotisserie pits ... BIG ones. LOL

It's been done but it is usually connected to the front quarter on the spit.
