Default wild caught king and sockeye salmon and veggies.....

cooked wild caught king salmon and wild caught sockeye salmon tonight for dinner along with a bunch of veggies. i used dizzy pig shakin' the tree, raging river & tsunami spin on pretty much everything. also used a bit of simply marvelous season all.

and i also got my box for winning the grilling/bbq throwdown....

C'mon deepsouth... I was born & raised in Biloxi and happen to know salmon is not a native fish.
Looks good with the grilled veggies.
I'd love to smoke up a batch of mullet again.

king salmon run/season is winding up now and sockeye is starting the big push, this is the right time.

What did you prefer? Done right, smoked sockeye salmon is one of the best foods on this planet I say.

Heh heh... I hear ya.
The last trip I made to Biloxi I stopped by Quality Seafood and came home with a cooler full (of all things) of frozen Dungeness crabs clusters!

I just finished up a package of thinly sliced Sockeye salmon seasoned with a pastrami spice blend.
