Default Butt,Picnic, or shoulder

What do you use in competition?

I use butts and have used a Picnic once. never done a whole shoulder.

I'm thinking of switching back to picnics.

I don't do comps, but I prefer the picnic shoulder for pulled pork. I don't have a problem with butts and use them as well, but if given the choice for pulled pork, I'll choose the picnic shoulder.

Looks like a lot of butts for competition cooks. I have been told I should use picnic shoulders cause you can get better slices.
