I was at this comp and tried alot of the PC dishes,Harrys Q was excellent!also RnQ and Left coast were right up there with him,All very deserving,the judges did a great job on this one.Also had a chance to try some of the Sauce Goddess sauces and they were VERY tasty. I was really impressed by the location,it is an older main street that has and is being revitalized and boy what a great job they are doing,I will definitely be going back for a visit.My one small complaint was that the contest location was effectively cut in half by the racetrack and beer garden making it a little tough to get around.

Congrats to the powerhouse teams RnQ and SYD!..great job!..Alexa we hung out with Marcel for an hour or so while he waited for you guys to get there..what a knowledgeable man he is I also told him how lucky he was to be cooking with you two..we felt really good with our finish,its our highest finish yet in pork and chicken..finally I know where I need to be with that farkin chicken!!..Oh one more thing about the judging..there was a master judge at every table..great job once again from K&K!

I was judging this competition and I had a great time. Not a ton of teams like some events, but all (well almost all) of the Que was amazing! Outside of 1 team turning in the wrong meat it was tough in every catagory. The sauce godess had some pretty good sauces and their poppers where great. I'll be in AZ this weekend judging the 1rst Annual Queen Creek event and then back in Cali for Acorn. Is SYD gonna get ToY this year???
