My Holiday Cook - Pron
This was my first cook on my new pit. In a big way, I broke her in. Two 10lb pork butts (cooked one to slice and one to pull), two 15lb briskets and 4 racks of baby backs! Half of everything went to a friend that asked me and my BBQ teamate to cook for him, the other half we split up.
I also deep fried a turkey and put a roasted pecan honey glaze on it The ribs were for a friend, and I forgot to take a picture...beer may have played a roll in that. Forgive the strange cut on the brisket, but I split everything that was left, and we both wanted the point. The pork shoulder you see here, is right after I pulled the bone out. It was a good weekend!
