^^^Why do they sell flats, but not points?

Prolly better for my health that they don't.

I imagine that's where all the flats come from. The packing houses probably sell all their points to Hormel and other mass producers because the point is such a better part of the brisket.

I think you are missing the point of this thread Why set yourself up for disappointment, just cut to the chase and buy tri-tip.
