Steel drum blue food liner inside

Good morning!

I am going to build another uds... I found drums close to home on Craigslist with lids' but blue inside.

Anybody dealt with a blue interior?

When I built robot the drum had a tan coating that burned out easily...

Any idea what the drums used to ship? Are they advertised as food grade?

I have heard lots about red. All bad.

Any color liner other than clean steel is bad. If it's a good price grab it and get it sandblasted.

It could be a removable plastic liner; I had one of those; less than a minute to remove it.

Never heard of a blue spray in liner.
