Default BBQ Sauce from tomatoes?

We have a bunch of tomatoes right from the garden I am trying to figure out what to do with...since......I don't like tomatoes.

I thought BBQ sauce would be a good idea...anyone done this?

+1 on the ketchup. I made it a few years back and it was really good. I also made some pasta sauce and salsa that were big hits.
Mrs wages kits are easy and pretty good.

Paul Kirk's book "Championship Barbecue" has a number of recipes for building condiments out of raw tomatoes. These would then get incorporated in to sauces

I wish we lived close to each other, because I love fresh picked tomatoes.

i'd cook off the tomatoes whole in the smoker, peel the skins, than proceed to make a smokey ketchup, use that as your base for a bbq sauce.

If you don't like them, why are you growing them?

I can't stand eating a tomato...

But my wife finds it odd that I will eat things made with tomato, or Pico. But I will not eat them plain, in a salad or on a sandwich

Nope. Me too. I love growing them but hate eating them plain. I love ketchup and salsa but hate plain tomatoes.

Would rather eat them raw with salt and pepper than make BBQ sauce out of them.
