Any of you guys own a yoder pellet smoker? If so are these smokers really designed to set and forget, also do they put out enough smoke to get a good flavor and smoke ring? I'm thinking on buying one. Thanks

Yes and yes. Do a search for Yoder and you will see lots of threads on them. Most guys use at least a 640 for comps, and the big boys use a 1320 or the new 1500.

As The Dog said, yes and yes. The Yoders put more good, non creosote smoke food on food than most other pellet grills. Turn it on, set the temp, come back when the cooker is preheated, put on food, wait until done, eat. It's that easy.

I enjoyed mine so much I upgraded to the YS1500. I just got it yesterday and I will be posting a lot about it in the next week at least. So far, I'm thrilled with it.

I was wondering how big that top shelf was. I thought it looked small in other pics. Nevermind....

I love my 640 so much I went out and got a Kingman comp to go with it....wait.....ummm
