Default A Little Soup for the Soul............

Some soup for the cool weather, started with this...........

Seasoned up the chicken breast with some Yardbirds......

And then I decided I wanted some rolls of some kind, so started the dough...

In the bowl to rise while I work on the soup.......

Cooked up the rice blend for the soup......

Grilled up the chicken on the Smokey Joe.....

Worked on the bread sticks.......

Chopped up the chicken and threw that in the soup..........

Whipped up some greens to go along.....

The soup is lookin' good.......

Topped the bread sticks with some parmesan and garlic........

The rolls into the oven........

the finished products........

Dinner is served............

And this was really good.........not a drop left after all the family finished..........Big hit!

Hope you enjoyed the look!

KC

Thanks. Well I started with a basic french bread recipe for the dough, then just rolled it into strands for the braided sticks, then I brushed with a little egg wash and topped with a mix of Grated Parmesan, Granulated garlic, parsley flakes and salt just before going into the oven, baked at 350 for about 18 minutes I think it was. Anyway, all turned out great!

KC

As far as "healthy".......Not bad with the exception of the half and half, LOL.

Excellent looking meal.
Really liked the green salad as part of your healthy meal.
Loved the bread sticks too!

The better half always makes soup out of the leftovers from my smoked chicken. That looks stellar.
