Default NJ State BBQ Championship Applications

This was my 1st year trying to get into this competition, and I was just wondering if anyone has heard back yet if their entry was accepted for this competition? I followed the rules, and had my app postmarked the following Monday morning after the apps came out, and I have not heard anything yet.

If anyone has any information on this, I would appreciate it.

unfortunatly they do this every year. and then get pissed if you question them. the only reason i go back is i have family that lives their. i am sending an e-mail tonight, will let you know if i get a responce

Same here. This would be our first year and I hear it's a great comp. But if we're getting in, I need to start booking some hotel rooms ASAP (this is for family and friends...and a place to shower). As I understand it, I know there's some issue with sleeping in vehicles, not sure about sleeping at our sites. Well...I hope we all make it in....

sleeping onsite is not a problem the just don"t allow people to sleep in cars on the side of the roads. I have been here for 5 of the last 6 years(was on the reserve list in 09) it's a great place for a comp but they have no respect for the teams.

Yeah, thats one of my main reasons I need to know if I am in, so I can book a hotel room for the weekend.

Also, if I don't get in, I need to send an application to one in southwest jersey at the end of July. Good luck to all trying to get in.

Can't wait till my 1st comp in a few weeks down in Delaware. Have been itching to start the competitions for the year!
