Merl, Sorry for being dense, but what does this mean? If you cook 5 contests and place 1st in chicken at all contests, you can can't place top 10 in chicken and TOY at the same time?

Your five best contests for Overall Team of the Year may not be the same five best for the Chicken Overall, or Pork Rib Overall, etc.

I sent your question to the princess of answers (Steph) and here is what she said:

Let's say Team Pig cooks 7 contests in 2006. In Contests
1, 3, 4, 5, 7 they received top 5's in chicken.
In 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 they received top 5's in overall.

They have to have a top five in chicken or ribs or pork or brisket
or overall to get ANY points at all.

With the scenario above, they did well in different things
at different contests, hence, it doesn't have to be the SAME
five contests for each individual category or overall.

Is this making sense, it's "like" Monday, you know!? LOL

So I think I get it. Maybe a more precise statement would be, "Your five best contests for Overall Team of the Year do not have to be the same five best for the Chicken Overall, or Pork Rib Overall, etc."

MAY NOT sounded like MUST NOT to me. Not trying to be a PITA, just comes across that way.
