Mark from Grandbury... up a ways along a dirt road from the Pate Museum used to be an abandoned observatory at the top of a hill. Whatever happened to that?

The Pate Museum is still there, although the air force took back some (most) of the planes. It isn't nearly as big as it used to be.

I'm not sure about the observatory... I'll have to check it out next time I pass by on my way to Fort Worth.

Totally agree with Mark, it was very cool, and I figured you would have taken care any hazards. Sometimes if you don't have anything good to say, one should say nothing.

C'Mon, this is common sense, exactly why it's a code violation, and should be.

If a fire were to break out from the inside (Funk spontaneous combustion?)
and blocks the other exit?

He has 2 exits, correct? Wouldn't he simply go out the other exit? Or
the emergency break-out window?

Shoot, I have a 30' RV with only 1 door. There's a reason the windows
are knock-out emergency windows... If there's a fire between me &
that door, and it's not caused by my girlfriend and I doin' the hoochie
koo, you can bet your bottom dollar that I'm popping that emergency
hatch in a jiffy, without any hesitation whatsoever.

Looks to me like the Funkabbqmobile has that as a built-in...

I think buddy you underestimate the very possible scenario that people would in fact build a fire around my trailer, block all the exits, then stand outside with guns and sell tickets to the event. LOL

Why is it that I can actually picture that happening?

Thanks for the laugh.

Barbefunkoramaque and btcg went on a BBQing competition in the Funkatorium. After a good event, they lay down for the night and went to sleep. Some hours later, Barbefunkoramaque awoke and nudged his safety conscious friend.

Barbefunkoramaque said: "btcg, look up and tell me what you see".
Btcg said: "I see a fantastic panorama of countless stars".

Barbefunkoramaque : "And what does that tell you?"

btcg pondered for a moment: "Astronomically, it tells me that there are millions of galaxies and potentially billions of planets. Astrologically, I observe that Saturn is in Leo. Horologically, I deduce that the time is approximately a quarter past three. Theologically, I can see that God is all powerful and that we are small and insignificant. Meteorologically, I suspect that we will have a beautiful day tomorrow."

"Why? - What does it tell you, Barbefunkoramaque?"

Barbefunkoramaque was silent for a moment then spoke: "Someone has stolen our Funkatorium."

singlehandedly the funniest thing I have read anywhere in half a year. God I love new members! Such a breath of freshness... not unlike when Sasha Blonde came on the scene.
