Just thought I'd update those of you who couldn't make it yesterday.
The turnout was fantastic the building was packed consistantly from 11 till we left at 3. The entire circumfrence of the building was lined with items donated for the silent auction. There was a free will donation bake sale as well as a pulled pork lunch plate ( which alone raised $3000 I understand) Bids on the aution items were many times higher than their values.
Dawn and David put on a good face but it was obvious that they were both heartbroken and uneasy with the attention. I'm sure sometime in the near future they will try to express their gratitude.
I am also updating the info for the ongoing E-bay auction for bids on some exciting BBQ classes taught by some of the countrys greatest cook teams, paid entrys into some great venues, and a dandy smoker donated by Jumpin? Jack @ Smokeshack inc.
Take a minute to follow the links and join in the bidding, everybody wins on this deal. There are only 8 days left to bid....
