Default Propane Tank Source?

Anyone know a good place to get used propane tanks for a new build? Looking for 120 or 150 gallon tank, to build smoker similar to Lang 60 or Meadow Creek TS120.

I know around here our local fertilizer company and propane company will sell old propane and other storage tanks cheap, obviously you have to be careful with the fertilizer tanks not to get something toxic but the propane tanks r ok.

Local LP company! they should have used tanks that they will give you or sell you for really cheap.. as long as you make it clear they are not liable for anything that happens once you take it..

Found mine on craigslist. I wasn't in no hurry and it took awhile but I was able to score a 200 gallon tank for a trailer build and a 100lb tank for patio build for $50.

The local propane companies by me will not sell them to the general public. I was told with all the Homeland security stuff they have new guidelines on getting rid of them. I guess you have to know someone.
