ROAD TRIP

The Florida Barbecue Association

This will be the weekend before our niece graduates from high school.... so, I am going to try to make it a busy weekend.

Monday - Wednesday -- work...NOT
Thursday -- drive 585 miles
Friday and Saturday -- comp.
Sunday -- travel
Monday -- graduation
Tuesday -- drive 650 miles home
Wednesday -- go back to work??? NOT....

This event is the town next to where I grew up.... should be interesting. I can stay at my brother place, and then spend some time with both families. I will probably make at least a week and a half out of it.

WOW... double whammie.... just looked. Pigs in the Park is May 16-17th, 2 weeks before this one... could be a busy month of May....I will see when they send me the info. They have no website listed, just a contact person.

Did anyone attend or vend at this event last year? Thinking about entering, but wondered what everyone thought of it last year.

We did this event last year. Had a good time. Nice area next to a large lake. We got lucky and were under one of the many large trees. We did not vend.
