Help needed: American Royal to LA/Ventura County

I need some Brethren assistance getting a Backwoods G2 Chubby from the American Royal to the Los Angeles/Ventura County area. Here is the story: I live on Long Island, NY and purchased a used BWS G2 Chubby for my brother in law who lives in Woodland Hills, California. He was supposed to drive his RV out to the American Royal to meet up with us, enjoy the competition and bring the cooker back to California. Unfortunately, he has had a recurrence of Myeloma and will be getting chemo instead of traveling to Kansas City. The return of his cancer was an unexpected curveball. He has 2 children under 15 and lost his wife to cancer 3 years ago. He has been looking forward to taking the trip to KC and getting his cooker for months. If the Brethren can help, we can at least get the cooker out to him so he can enjoy it when he is feeling better.
Any teams coming to the Royal from the LA/Ventura County area - please consider helping out and bringing his cooker back to CA. He should be able to pick it up (with some assistance lifting) from a reasonable distance. Please let me know if you can help!

The American Royal is October 5th and 6th, so I would think Big Poppa will have it back to the Palm Springs area later that week. Palm Springs is about 2 hours east of me.

Woodland Hills is about 2 hours North west of me.

I know there are brethren in the Inland Empire that might be able to bridge the gap between palm springs and OC.

If they can get it here, I will get it to LA.
