Default Vortex Fire basket (flip or no flip)

Does the diffuser plate design eliminate the need to flip your meats...or at some point it is necessary to flip them? Thanks.

I have been a flipper. Works great on chicken.

I would flip, if you do not have a deflector plate, and don't want to sacrifice a few centimeters of meat crust. That's a lot of heat coming at the meat.

I do not flip. Use mine mostly for wings abts chicken lollipops. Everything comes out crispy and tasty. Best chicken skin.
