Richmond VA
Originally from Marietta GA, UGA class of 1993 with some great memories of BBQ shacks in and around Athens GA. I've been in Richmond VA for 17 years which has been kind of a BBQ wasteland but is on the upswing recently. I was gifted an New Braunfels offset (Home Depot grade) at one point and used that until it rusted out. Even after making lots of modifications temp control was still really hard so I mostly used it as a large grill. I'm back in the smokey saddle now with an oval Primo ceramic grill/smoker.

Welcome!
Plenty of family in Richmond and further SE. I could sure go for a Bernie's Sub... (415 Ridge Rd in Henrico) right about now.

I am just outside of Richmond and work in the city. Things BBQ-wise are looking up. Check out ZZQ https://www.zzqrva.com/ they have awesome brisket and beef ribs, pork is ok, certainly a step up for us :)

Welcome from Michigan! I like the look of those Primo's. They'll be on the list when I get spousal approval for a ceramic cooker.
