So I got in an order from great lakes bbq and would like to try out all the rubs this weekend. What cut of meat do you use just to try out a rub?

I would go with chicken or pork chops. Something with a neutral flavor.

I say MOINK Balls or CSRs. You need something w/ several similarly sized pieces. Or, to go w/ Skidder's suggestion, you could do drummies.

I just grill up some chicken breasts and cut them into halves and share with whoever that way everyone gets to eat but you get to try all the different rubs.
