Thank you Craigslist, mega score!

I finally found a performer for cheap. Not only that it is stainless steel, and a red head. The porcelain enamel is chiped in a few spots and it is missing one caster. Other than that it is perfect and everything works. Even came with a cover. Had to add custom wood handles by marty. By the date code she is a 1998.

Oh yeah and I only paid $50 for it, also came with the weber smoker baskets to hold charcoal for smoking.

I have been searching craigslist for a deal on one for quite a while. I rarely find any Weber stuff close enough to me that I'd drive to get it. I haven't seen a performer yet.

Quick comment here...don't forget that a lot if these CL posts aren't even listed as Webers. I search for "grill" or "charcoal grill" in addition to the usual suspects. The Red Weber Master Touch I scored today for $20 was listed as " red charcoal grill for sale"
