Thumbs up Bartlett, TN Rib Cookoff Pics

For once we finally had a chance to do a full contest in perfect weather. It had never happened to us before, but this weekend was just awesome outside. Lots of fun on Friday nite and Saturday (as you can probably tell!). We won 4th in ribs...same as last year. When we found out we had made finals we were really hoping to have moved up a little, but we were still very happy with the results.

This was probably our last year to compete at St. Ann's as there are some good KCBS contests in late April/early May that we want to do, but they do put on a great event out there. Lots of fun!

This event is non-sanctioned, but they judge with MiM rules with certified judges.

Just wanted to share some pictures with everyone! Click for the full size.

Looks like a great time. Are those single ribs in the turn-in box?

What do you mean by "single ribs?" Since this was judged as MiM there was no garnish, so we had to do best we could to shove a bunch of ribs in there. They also prefer a couple of rib bones so the judges can separate tear them.
