Snowbird, UT full results
What an amazing venue this competition had -- the cooksites were strung along a rushing snowmelt torrent among tall pines, with patches of late snow on the ground despite the sunny 88-degree days! It was a little surreal to see skiers trudging past the cookers -- the trails were still open, as was the tram ride up to awe-inspiring views from 11,000 feet. It was quite an experience to cook alongside some of the names present. Impeccably organized by Arlie Bragg, this is a comp that Rhythm 'n QUE is looking forward to doing again next year.

Yo divaherself, congrats on a great comp. It was nice to meet you and that fella that hangs out with you. (i'm terrible with names) Let him know I'll be working out this year and am planning on taking him down for that shirt. He offered to let me try this year but he was looking as tough as I was tired...
I couldn't agree more about this being a great comp, it was my first sanctioned event and I am totally stoked with a twelfth place finish. Not too bad for an old fat guy with some used barrels cooking all by himself! We'll look forward to seeing guys again next year. Chris, This Little Piggy...

Hey Scottie, I didn't realize you were one of the brethern also. I'd have made more of a point to spend a minute saying hi. Oh well, at least I got to raise a glass or two or three with you on Friday night. Congrats on a great job!!! And just so everyone has perspective on what a great cook this guy is, you gotta note that he was here with no notice, borrowed a cooker and all the other stuff and still whupped all of our Utah asses...
Chris

I'm going to get all SAUCY with those trophies!!! I did really like the little pig trophy for RGC... It can fit on my desk as a paperweight. It sure beats some of those bowling trophies!
Good meeting you Chris. I truly enjoy going to new parts of the country and meeting new cooks. As for me whooping butts. Everyone gets lucky every now and then. I guess it was my weekend to hit the right tables... Scottie
