I made some burnt ends after smoking a couple of briskets yesterday... Here's the progression.

Looks great! Did you continue to cook the point after it was separated from the flat? or just chop it?

They're not real burnt ends unless you put them back on for a couple of hours. :)
 
Cooked me a brisket this weekend. Ate till I was ready to bust. Burritos with the rest.
 
a guy cooked next to us from Al (team name was Rednecked BBQ) and he cooked his where they looked just like that and I thought they had two much bark and he beat the snot out of us, so I quess not.
