UDS Diameter?
What is the diameter of a 55 gallon Drum? Picking one up tomorrow and I need to know if it will fit in my car or whether I need to take my truck.

depends on the drum. Mine is ~22.75 in. OD.
I believe most are around that dimension. I would expect 22.5 to 23.5 OD. Err on the side of caution though and take the truck. |

Most of the closed top drums I've seen have an od at the top lip of 22 5/8". Open top drums have a slightly larger od right at the top lip.
Before anyone asks, they are usually about 35" tall, 34.5" from inside bottom to the top edge.
