That's all we get? I know there's value in keeping your audience in suspense, but damn Phil, give us something! A general vacinity perhaps? All kidding aside, awesome to hear that...glad things have been worked out and looking forward to it!

FYI, Phil has told me that PAL will be issuning refunds (I know that my check was cashed by PAL on 03/10). I would assume that this would mean that new checks and applications will need to be submitted.

yeah, thats the venue on FB. Its under 10 miles east of holtsville.
If i can get all the paperwork in order, im going tonight to get everything signed. If not, it will be tomorrow. KCBS is notified that we are NOT cancelled and its a go. I will contact PAL to see if i can get the applications they ahve and transfer funds to our new host. Who BTW, wants nothing from us except to bring people to his business. There are 2 other very strong venues that hopefully will make for additional contests. I am going on a handshake and a beer right now, with all major details understood and agreed upon(power, water, Ice, sanitation, permits) Once all paperwork is signed, I will make the official announcement. If anyone recognizes it, shhhhhhhhh.. till tonight. This photo does not show the bar, the 40x40 judges tent, the deck, the bandroom, the concession or the other half of the open field. Its a small restaurant/bar that does big catering and it rated 4 stars by newsday. Wes and MasQue introduced us in January, but we tabled it till next year. I stopped by there today on a lark on the way back from riverhead, and they were still interested. The same dates were open(august 6-7), and after 90 minutes of talk, its a go.
