Default Good Q in Cincinnatti?

I am headed to Cinci for my first time. Is there any good Q there I need to try or just go straight to the chili?

Thanks

Do not pass up the chili in all its variations.

Try Gold Star, Skyline, and there are a couple of smaller outfits.

Try them 3-4-and 5 way over the pasta, and try the same on the hot dog.

If you order it just in a bowl, trying to compare it to other chili, don't. Its not chili like everywhere else. Its a slurry which is meant to both put onto things, and then add things to it.

And then, hit Graeter's ice cream for the black raspberry chip. Locations throughout the tri-state area.

I cannot wait to get back there. I was thinking of moving there. Intentionally. It's known as "Little Chicago" from the urban feel standpoint, and that is a great way to sum it up.

Have a good trip.

And if you want something really different, try "goetta" (pronounced "get a", like get a life). Made with pork and steel-cut oats. Definitely different, but delicious if you like that kind of thing! Commonly served as a breakfast meat, but great as a sandwich or whenever. Cinci actually has a Goetta-Fest in August every year. Only city that I know of that you can get it in a restaurant!

AS for the chili... Go to Blue Ash. It is the best by a wide margin IMO!
