Default Wanna Bring Back Some Sausage From TX

I have very fond memories of sausage from Elgin and New Braunfels from when I used to live in Austin in the 80's. I'm going there at the end of the week & I wanna bring back some sausage with me, a lot of it to freeze and eat at a later time. Where are some good places to score? We'll be hitting some joints around Austin and of course Lockhart, maybe Snow's, Taylor Cafe, etc. for brisket, beef ribs and whatnot, but what I'm looking for here is some of that awesome TX sausage. Any "don't miss" spots for that?

Elgin and Lockhart are the big ones that come to mind, but you're on top of it.

If you can pack it in dry ice I believe that is the way to go.
Good luck and stay safe.

My favorite for Texas Hot Link sausage is Chisholm Trail in Lockhart.
