I thought that this is something worth sharing. My buddy Josh did all the masonry work and I built the BBQ portion of it. Seems to be working pretty well.

Just got another order for one of these. Unlike this one, the next one needs to be a standalone (not built into the fireplace). Does any one have any experience with using one that way? My concern is that I might need to have a separate pit to build the fire like the one in the video shows. Or can the fire be maintained easy enough under the grate. I think that being able to scoop coals under the grate would be the ideal way to cook on this. Thoughts??????
