So I will take the first shot at giving them a catchy acronym for a name.
Keeping in the spirit of ABT's (Atomic Buffalo Turds) well these must be
the Atomic Buffalo Bung or ABB.

HPR - Hot Pork Ring
SPR - Smoked Pork Ring
CPE - Circle of Pork Excellence
POR - Pork Onion Ring

Not to disrupt the idea flow here, but what if instead of rings you just sliced the onion, painted the slices with sriacha or hot sauce or whatever, then covered with bacon and smoked?

Way less work....
