Cabo San Lucas - First Time: Any Recommendations
I've never been to Mexico. Never been anywhere out country, actually.
Looking for relaxation in Cabo San Lucas, I've narrowed it down to there as I'm trying to steer clear of some of the troubles they are having in that country. Not looking for "authentic" street food or anything. I can get that locally within a mile from my house. Any Brethren been to Cabo and can recommend a resort? I've been looking at places that do NOT cater to families or children. Its definitely an adults only trip. Looking at both room only, semi inclusive, and all inclusive packages. This is so far a leading contender: http://www.pueblobonitosunsetbeach.com/ Any recommendations from anyone? You all gave me a ton of Disney ideas, so I figure I might get lucky twice! Thank you,

I think my mom liked the Hilton last time she went. Pueblo Bonito sounds familiar as a place she's recommended. I've never been. I'm not sure it really matters too much. You and Ron probably won't even get out of bed.

A friend has (had?) a timeshare here...
http://www.pueblobonito-rose.com It's been 12 or so years since I was there but the place was beautiful. It's right on the beach and I remember being able to walk down the beach to restaurants and bars. It is a short cab ride from the town area. I vaguely remember having fun at this place... http://elsquidroe.com and here... http://www.cabowabocantina.com/cantina/cabo/about One tip... If you stay late at Cabo Wabo and go out the opposite side of the building from where you came in you end up in a very dark, scary place. At least it was back then. And Gore... My invitation must be in the mail.

At those prices I would go to Kaanapali In Maui. Its right near black rock. This big ars rock thats a blast to jump off of into the ocean. Great island for snorkeling, scuba diving and surfing. Swim with the turtles. But, I guess thats all depends on what you want to do on your vacation. Im sure there are many adult activities in mexico that are not available on the Islands.
With whats been going on in Mexico I would not step foot in that country. But, Thats just me. Im sure you will have a great time and yes, Im jealous...

Sunset Beach and Pacifica are a couple miles up the road and are geared towards adults and couples. A tad bit more exclusive. Its not part of the main beach strip, which is both a blessing and a curse. I am trying to get away from my kids. Last thing I want is to deal with someone else s kids. I paid my kid dues at Disney last year

Did 5 straight days at lego land last year!!
I can relate What about vegas? I don't think the gangs are cutting the heads off of tourists or holding them for ransom there. Most of it is 21 and over!!! I could do a couple of days there!! I do have to agree with you about Mexico, They do have some real nice places to go!!
