Good Evening All,

Here is the latest info on the next GLBBQA meeting, please let me know if you can make it:


The next meeting is scheduled for Feburary 24th at 11:00 am at the following location:
Holly Police Department 315 S. Broad St, Holly, Mi. 48442
Here is a brief outline of the tenative agenda for the GLBBQA meeting scheduled for Feb 24th at 11:00am.
- Review of the Articles of Incorporation
- Review of the by-laws
- Review of the Mission Statment
- Logo update
- Intrest in a Fun Cook (Needed for scheduling and such)
- Information on the Mar 10th KCBS Judging class (Grand Rapids)
- Info on the DRBBQ Cooking Class in April (Detroit)
- Open Floor The plan is to submit the by-laws to the group for all to review and approve after the meeting

Sorry Mike unable to attend........ Got company again this weekend.

Please take good notes for us. Dont forget the date for the get together/cook at Eagle Park as well. Ive already told the park manager that we will be renting the nw section for Q.

I am hoping the fun cook will be there. I took a Paul Kirk class there a number of years ago (and now I'm hooked!) and it was a great little facility, and centrally located. Julie

Hi Julie, I helped P.Dell w/that class a few yrs ago. I learned a lot from Chef Paul and hope to get the park for another get together.

I met you and your husband their but im sure you dont remember me. Not a problem.........but look forward to meeting everybody from Michigan thats into Q.

Neil the time and date is to be announced. Right now I dont have a clue.

Hope its nicer weather than were presently having though.

How much to set up a conference call for part of the meeting? Or put it out over the internet? Al Gore can probably help figure it out.

I'll be at the class in April, by the way.
 
Hey Curt, I am looking into that. I have Vonage and I can setup a virtual number, I am also looking at a few other options. If anybody can provide any advice I am listening...
