I've done it in a clod, which is similar to the chuck if I'm not mistaken.

I made my own injection: beef stock, worchestershire sauce, onion and garlic powder and some cayenne. It came out fantastic. This was a 13 Pounder.

I bought a 7 lber and don't want it to dry out. I think I will inject with butchers and rub with bovine bold and hope for the best!
