Got lucky, I found them (bone in Butts) at the Orange, CT Restaurant Depot on Saturday...

Had the same experience in the past... sometimes there, sometimes not....

I have had even less success on Sundays...

They get their last shipment for the week on Friday...

If you go during the week (which I can't) the odds improve..

You could try the Yonkers Restaurant Depot...

Melville had plenty of Bone in butts yesterday afternoon, call first see if they still have them ask for the meat manager

There is a Butcher shop close to the area of the competition that has three locations. They normally have bone in butt and boneless. The name is Cow Palace there is a link www.cowpalacebutchershop.com . Give them a call and tell them you are competing in the Sayville BBQ Contest.
