Just gotta get the cobwebs outta the attic or find my oilcan :D. Ya'll get a chance come on up and compete.Not many teams this year.Last year thirty or so.This year only 14 so far. Not bad money.... 2 grand for the win,payout $500 to $50 1st through 5th.

Got most of the cooking site set up today.Gonna head back about 3am to get some butts & briskets fired up for vending tomorrow evening.Got 400lbs of butts,75lbs. of brisket,84 racks of ribs,and 25 whole chickens.So, we'll see how we do.If not it will bbq for breakfast,lunch,and supper for a while. :-)

Had a great time.But,I'm pooped.Sold 500lbsof pork,84 slabs of ribs,85lbs of brisket,25 chickens.The contest was moved to dowtown and made for a good festival atmosphere.Put it on your calander for next.We finished 9th overall.As long as we're in the top 10 I'm always happy.Finished 3rd in chicken,23rd ribs(Ribs were'nt tender enough.Good flavor just tough),13th pork(my achilles heel),and 5th in brisket.The plaques that they gave away were awesome.Had little bbq pits on them.
