Ok, idle minds (and a few barley malts) can lead to interesting questions. Some say I have too much time on my hands. Others say.....:crazy:
On a temp probe, which part of the probe (tip?, middle?, all?) is actually taking the temperature? Why do I care? Well, if I am attaching the probe to the grate, wouldn't I want as accurate a grate temp as possible and keep the sensing portion of the probe as far away from the grate as possible?
