Opinions on the new Weber One Touch Gold?
I just saw that Weber has made some changes to the 22.5 OTG and I'm considering picking one up and would like some thoughts if anyone has it. The first changes I noticed are:
A new dome thermometer It has little spots on the side handles to hang utensils This is what I've found after only a few minutes of web research so I could be wrong. Here are my thoughts and concerns: The dome thermometer sounds awesome but are they more accurate than most other built-in grill thermometers? The little areas on the handles to hang stuff are awesome! So what are the brethrens thoughts? Chris Sent from my Nexus using Tapatalk 2

Reason: incorrectly said the 22.5 had a tuck-away lid system, that's only the 26.75 that has that option |

As far as the dome therm, they are what they are. Not sure if they are anymore accurate than the old style. I have the same style on my WSM. I use it as a gauge and my Thermapen to tell me what's going on. The lid holder is just like the Performer and does not come off. Well it does, if you want to remove 3 bolts every time you store it. It's a great grill. if you want a OTG then go for it. You'll be happy.
Edit Actually I just looked it up and it still has the lid hanger. do you have a pic of one with the other lid holder.
