KCBS Rule question

I have a question fer all you KCBS CBJs out there:

The rules state that tha stuffing is not allowed in the turn-in containers. Does that mean that meat portions may not be stuffed or does it simply mean that stuffing as a separate food item may not be turned in apart from the meat portion?

Would a stuffed chicken breast get you DQ'd?

make the container unique or identifiable. Aluminum foil,
toothpicks, skewers, foreign material, and/or stuffing are
prohibited in the container

. Marked entries or containers
with the above listed material will receive a one (1) in all

criteria from all Judges.

As I read the rule it appears to be mentioned in the context of forein objects meaning "stuffing" (bread moistened with stock and spices, or other types). Stuff as much meat as you want in the box.

So, as a CBJ, you would not DQ a stuffed chicken breast?

I have never seen a stuffed chicken breast at any competition I have participated in.

If one was presented to me, I would ask the table captain to get a ruling from one of the reps about it being legal.

I would go by their decision.

I do not have the whole rule book in my head. But it seems to me that it is unlikely that it would be allowed. If is was legal, I think we would be seeing more of it.

I would get a ruling from KCBS before using stuffing in a contest. IMO

Please reread my answer.
Stuffing is a foreign object, resulting in a DQ.
Change the word "stuff" as much meat....... to "place" as much meat....

Yes, it would get you DQ'd. The rules say "Aluminum foil, toothpicks, skewers, foreign material, and/or stuffing are prohibited in the container."
If the stuffing is in the meat, and the meat is in the container, then the stuffing is also in the container, and therefore prohibited. I don't see any gray area on this one.

Actually, yes I suppose you could. I am not sure why you would want too, but it would not be a DQ if you did. If you decide to do so, please post pics of the turn-in. That would be interesting!
