Question Looking for Poly Board Sheets

Have any of you purchased large poly board sheets? I understand that it's available up to drywall size sheets and prefer to buy something that large and cut that into smaller sheets for filleting boards for my fishing buddies. I'm also of course looking for the best deals. So far, for my own personal use I found a 36x48x1/2 for $111 on www.freckleface.com. I need to order the board soon so that's it's at my house before I arrive home from my fishing trip.

I bought a large irregular piece of 2" thick cutting board scrap from Surfas Restaurant Supply in Culver City, enough to make a couple of boards for contests. I think I paid $5 for something they couldn't otherwise sell.

Call over to their fabrication shop and see if they have anything that will work for you.

With all the industrial business along the 710 / 5 corridor, there's gotta be a local source for new material. Maybe give a call to the plastics companies here?

Thanks much Bubba. Ordered.

Prof Salt - I tried the place in Culver City but it was twice the price of the above. $110 delivered vs. $207+tax. I don't have much time so didn't check out the 710 industries. Thanks tho.

OK, I ordered 5 of the 18" x 24" cutting boards Wednsday afternoon. The UPS guy just dropped them off today (Friday). Talk about fast service!
On a side note - these are a full 18" x 24", so they will have to be trimmed down to fit in your sheet pans (table saw & router mod).
