basically the way I cook. If I hit on all 4 categories, I go out and win contests like the Jack... ;-) Usually it's only hitting 2 categories a weekend...

No clue really, it's that what were they thinking excuse!!! My chicken is first place or last place and my birsket was "on"... So no clue... No excuses either, as it was obvious the judges didn't like either one. So I will go and try again next weekend...

Willie, Chris & Fred - How did you guys do overall besides the 2nd place pork ?

I take it you didn't use the yellow mustard sauce this time !!!

I didn't make the trip Vinny, cooked on my deck and finished off a case of Harpoon. I haven't talked to Willie yet and Fred don't know nuthin'... And yes, safe bet the mustard sauce stayed home too!

We finished 12th overall the problem with this weekend was we liked our food. never seems to work when we like it
