Default Best BBQ places to eat in or nearby Irving, Texas

A friend is going to visit there and I told him y'all would know the best places if there were any. Anyone have experience or willing to help? Thanks in advance.

Ferris Wheelers on the western edge of Dallas, right near Irving.
There is a working Ferris Wheel in their backlot. Really good BBQ as well.
