Default Offset 11 ga smoker at Costco, first time I've ever seen!



Looked like a well-built cooker with welds in the right places and bolts where that could work ok (like on the exhaust).

Never seen this in Costco. Wonder how many folks will buy!

not bad. 11g is better than some of the OC smokers that are 14g with 11g doors. did it seem to have big gaps or did it look like it would not leak too bad?

With a little snooping around it is a Bayou Classic. Seems to have variations with spec very close to this.

I looked at it today. Baffle from the firebox only comes into the smoke chamber about 6 inches. It does have stops on the grate rails to allow them to slide out without tipping but the front shelf is too close to pull out the grates with the shelf up.

Does say 11g right on the box.

That's A Good Deal then. I'd put in a convection plate and bigger top shelf.

Especially when Costco starts discounting them at stores where they don't sell like they do with the kamados each season. $500, $400, $300?
