Default Thanks to the search

I didn't want to bump an old thread, but I did a search for a vinegar sauce recipe for my first butt next weekend. What I found was probably one of the best things I've ever tasted. I can't walk past the fridge without squirting a little into my mouth. Just want to thank everyone here and those who have been here for all you contribute or have contributed. For those interested here is the recipe:

1 cup light corn syrup(Karo)

1 cup white vinegar

1/2 cup water

3 tablespoons ketchup

2 taplespoons sugar

1 teaspoon kosher salt

1 1/2 teaspoons black pepper

Blend together in saucepan over medium heat. Slowly bring to a boil. Cool and transfer to container. Keep in fridge.
I did do a apple cider/white vinegar mix, and I cut the recipe in half.
