Of the choices, I'm with patattack. I'd layer SS & SA.


But....honestly.........there's really no BAD choice there.
It's all so.......SIMPLY MARVELOUS!

Well I forgot to check back before throwing it on. I went with a generous amount of Sweet Seduction. Also I pussed out and used the Traeger. It's freakin' cold today. About 18 degrees now. Thanks for all the suggestions. I have two more butts in the freezer so there will be some more experimentation.

Next time try the Pecan. It's my favorite rub for butts period. Truthfully, you can't go wrong with any SM product.

You also need to get some season all. I put it on everything I eat.

I remember a month or so back Big Poppa made a comment about mixing his rubs.
Pork was sweet and savory, if I remember right, that's why I use both you have and it comes out afarkinmazing!!!

Came out good for using the Traeger. Next time I'll mix the SS with apple or pecan and use the offset or UDS.

Had a little nibble this morning. The Traeger didn't add much smoke flavor as expected so it tastes like carnitas. That's a good thing.
