That's awesome Kapn, but you better watch it! Next time she comes around she's gonna be teaching YOU all those complicated recipes outta those cookbooks.

A fantastic gift for sure.

Daughter is getting friendly with her PG500 now!
They are incredibly busy and it has been a slow process.
She started with steaks (surprised me ), then basic dogs/burgers/etc.

Yesterday was her first foray into smoking some BabyBacks!

This is my Grandson with his pile of bones

She had a relatively short time to cook these.
I was pleased that she understood the process well enough to bump the temp from the 270 I suggested to 300 to make it work!
Cut off almost half an hour of the cook time to get to a satisfactory bend test.

Proud PAPA here!
Appears to be money well spent for once.

Just waiting now for her decision on the next "adventure"

Kid that size eats four bones, they must've been goooooooood. Heck, I'll stop after four myself sometimes depending on what's for sides, and I'm grown!

You know my b-day is coming up next week, just sayin', gnome sayin'.

Get her hooked so she will want to cook for you, trying to get my son hooked right now too. He is a stubborn 18 yo kid though.
